Two Obituaries

WPLY (Y-100) (1993-2005) passed away at noon this past Thursday. 100.3 FM is survived by hundreds of thousands of fans, and will be remembered as a radio station that could always be counted on for some Pearl Jam or Stone Temple Pilots while Philadelphia's other two rock stations were playing Linkin Park or Ozzy Osbourne (or worse). Like it's cousin in Maryland, 99.1 WHFS, Y100 died at the hands of ignorant, skull-fucking, corporate whores who evidently think that there simply isn't enough terrible hip-hop in the world.

My Palm Tungsten T3 (2003-2005) passed away on Sunday evening. The Tungsten T3 is survived by its owner, who was grief stricken when he found it drowned to death in the pocket of the pants he had just washed. Always loyal, the Tungsten served his owner well in reminding him about important bills and meetings in the future. May the Palm live a better life in the next world than the one he faced in this one. Posted by Voodoo Child at February 27, 2005 06:08 PM
